I guess I've learned that I have more worth than I ever thought I had before. That special doesn't equal weird or incapable. I've got more to be thankful for than I thought.
@A061309
Great lessons in realizing your self-worth! Yes, sometimes being "different" is not a negative thing at all! I'm glad that you have many things that you are grateful for.
This site has helped me with my breathing and motivation. It helps a lot and makes me feel a lot better most of the time.
@JuleStar321 I'm glad to hear that.
Hello all to this community and thanks for letting me in.
@Foreversearching
Welcome, forever! I hope that you find the support and encouragement you are looking for here. It is a very positive and vibrant community, with many friendly and kind people. Congrats on being here, and wishing you the best on your journey.
I have learned that I am not worthless. I learned that there is meaning in everything I do.
@destielisreal02 There really is, you always have worth in yourself. It's something that no matter what you do, what you say, it will never go away. I'm glad you're feeling this way :D
I feel like its hard for me to be in a healthy relationship when i feel depressed because i feel like a burden and i feel like im not understood or being actually heard i just feel like im being told what to do to make it better in such a way that makes me feel small and annoyed because its repetitive and i know how to do it but all i want is to be heard and not told what to do because i feel ill so ut when im ready and i cant force myself to feel better that instant. When intry i just feel worse and close off
I've learned to treat myself better and see the potential for positive changes instead of focusing on my setbacks. Those don't define me. I define me.
@A061309
I'm glad that you are treating yourself in a better way -- that is very important, I feel. Planning to engage in positive changes, instead of focusing on one's setbacks -- what a wonderful lesson to have learned! Your setbacks and obstacles don't define you, you define yourself -- I think you're so right!!
This has been helpful for my anxiety
@Jnutter3
I'm so glad for you! Having a health condition is challenging, and there are many people who come on here in an effort to get support and to cope. Hope you will continue to find the support and coping mechanisms which you need.
That I can manage to get better and be happy!
Like a snail... like a tortoise...
Oh how much I love my shell
I've learned to stop, close my eyes, relax and just breathe and focus on myself.
@MrsTarango
Great way to engage in some relaxation and meditation, MrsTarango! Good for you.
