I have truely helped someone on this site who was suicidal, and them thanking me and telling them that I saved them really just brings tears of happiness to my eyes. This makes me all the more thankful and greatly increased my love for this site even more <3
@chiotchae
I'm so happy that you have had this rewarding and enlightening type of a helping experience. I can sense your joy and gratitude, and am so happy that this site has been helpful for you.
I learned that I have to let go of the things that don't matter and keep the things that do matter close to me.
@Launnie
Great lesson! To prioritize what is important to you, and let go of what is not.
breath and relax it is alright to go with the flow
@PoliticalMind
Agreed! What a vital lesson to have learned :)

@GlenM Keep moving. Never give up. This, too, shall pass.
@TheSleech
I think you're right -- persistence really is key. I'm glad that you are determined not to give up. Tough times don't last for long.
Understanding myself and my mind more, being conscious of how unhealthy my thoughts can be and trying to make a change for the better, even if this is hard
@Jvinal
I think it's great that you're striving to engage in a better sense of self-awareness, and understanding yourself. I think a lot of people struggle with negative, unhealthy thoughts, and I'm so glad you're wanting to change these and try to make a change for the better. I know it's challenging but I hope you get there!

compassion
@limeDrum7172
I'm very glad that this site has taught you to exercise compassion! Helping others is a wonderful way to learn this skill.
@GlenM None of us are alone in the healing process. Everyone here has something that they'd like to work on, so its wonderful to feel like part of a community.
@AJY
Such a good lesson! We are all on this site to receive support, and all have issues which we need to work on. It really is a great community with a lot of supportive people willing to help each other.
@GlenM
Ive learnt so far that acceptance is a big part in my process
@faithfulWatermelon5232
I'm very glad that you have learned that sometimes acceptance is needed. I think sometimes learning to accept what we cannot change (circumstances, other people, etc.) is a positive step in the right direction in one's life.
