Sometimes leaving is the best thing you can do.

And you are not a failure if you do so. You are leaving one thing to begin another.@BedazzledShootingStar

I'm learning that I need more help than just my dr and therapist. It's been a year and nothing is getting easier. In fact things are getting much harder.

@1977john Hey, I can empathize with how you're feeling. Progress, even when it begins can be tough, but it's definitely a process that needs time. There's nothing wrong with you, perhaps your issues are a little more complex and that's perfectly alright. I hope you feel better soon, if you feel comfortable enough, there's always a listener available here on 7cups :)

Just reached step forty! I have learned that it is incredibly important for me to have a set of skills on hand to get "out of my head and into my body." I'm not totally sure what set of skills will work best for me, but I'm working on it. Some good ones: mindfulness exercises (five things I can see, four things I can hear, three things I can feel, two things I can smell, one thing I can taste), deep or fire breathing, and physical exercise. Being able to reach out when I feel most like isolating is also vital. This app is so helpful in that regard.
