Learned that "responding" is far better than "reacting" :)

@Fundamentalthought How interesting. I suppose that's a more positive way of dealing with things? Haha. Keep up the good work!

I go to work most of the time to get away with my problems at home

@Couragethecowardly I'm sorry that you feel the need to escape the troubles at home. A home is supposedly a place of comfort. Anyway, I hope you find some relief at work. Take care.

step 10.

im just starting out but i already feel better with this site. doing the activities and talking to people who care and listen to everything i have got to say about why i was so upset the past couple days, really helped. they gave me advice and tried to help me clear up the situation as best as they can. i actually feel like ive already taken a big step into being happy and motivating myself. my head would have driven me crazy being by myself and trying to resolve this issue on my own. one step ahead to getting back on track :)

I am learning how to become more patient and to not be so hard on myself and to not worry so much and know people are here and care

It's ok to be weird and not look like others

August 2nd, 2016

@MoeOrellana

Seeing yourself as different, and being different, is not necessarily a bad thing. We all come in different shapes and sizes, and have different looks, and no-one is any better than the other. Wonderful lesson to have learned - congrats!

Woo 50 steps! I'm getting there. I've learned that I will have to start a fresh page in life. Slowly but surely cut off connections with some people. Make new friends. :)

August 2nd, 2016

@WaterfallLily

Congrats on 50 steps completed! I am happy for your progress. I'm also happy that you're learning that you will need to begin with a fresh start in life, as I think so many people realize at one point or another. Cutting off connections that are not healthy could be a really good thing, as could making new friends. I think social support is important for wellness.
