Mistakes are good because they prove that you are taking actions because actions may lead to mistakes. Long-term absence of mistakes often means absence of actions and thus growing.

@zhanir

Great insight! It is so true, we all have to make mistakes to learn and as you said, without mistakes we will find ourselves stagnant. Keep up the great work!

@GlenM

I really related to the video of the unwanted guest. I need to train myself to enjoy the party instead of worrying.

I have learned that it's ok that not everyone understands me, but it doesn't mean I'm wrong or doing something wrong. Also, I need to find and use private avenues to express my feelings, like journaling. Also, I am learning that I work well at different times of the day and I should focus on optimizing my work hours during the times when I don't feel icky inside.

@indigoCity1560 Journaling sounds like a good idea. I like the realizations that you've been having, good job :D

@GlenM I have learned that just because someone doesn't understand me or they think I'm doing something wrong, even though it works for me, doesn't mean I'm actually doing something wrong. Sometimes, it's their own emotional stew and it has nothing to do with me. Also, I have leanred that I need to journal or at least jot down things that bother me or that take up a lot of brainpower to work through in my head. Also, I've learned that it's never too late or doesn't cost a lot to learn new skills and that I should be working on learning!

First and foremost, Thank you so much for sharing with us! And you are completely right, only you and you alone know what is right for you. Not to mention, many of us have to try and make mistakes before we know that it isn't for us. Just because something worked for someone in a similar situation does not mean it is going to work for you in the same way! Second, journaling can be such a great tool to have when things get tough. I am so glad you found it and that it is working for you. I have always believe in constantly learning and progressing, whatever it may be :) So keep up the great work and again, thank you for sharing!

There are a few things I've learned:

1. Being mindful is so, so important. I find myself questioning my negative thoughts more often, like where are they coming from and why.

2. Guided meditation DOES help!

3. Self-awareness is more of a journey than a goal, and that's ok.

@Pumpkinhead89 1. I'm glad that you are, you don't have to be bogged down by your feelings, they're just signals to tell you more about yourself. 2. I'm happy guided meditation is working for you. 3. It's true, self awareness is more of a journey than a goal, but you'll get there in time <3
