@GlenM

I've learned a lot from my growth path/going through therapy in general. First and foremost, I've learned I am a very emotional person. This can be both a good and bad thing at times. The key during the bad times is mood and emotion regulation. I just need to find a better outlet and make sure not to react poorly and with anger. I've also learned that one of my triggers is abandonment and that the thought or notion of being abandoned will set me off usually. And finally: I've learned that the bad is only temporary and it does get better. :D

I've learnt to not try holding myself to such high standards we all have times where we feel overwhelmed rather than piling pressure on because nothing seems to work, you need to heal, learn how to relax again and not feel guilty for looking out for yourself because nobody else will x

@Cdeane I totally relate to what you say. I'm experiencing the same thing. Give yourself permission to be you. To like what you want, dislike what you don't. And remember it's ok to take your time and give yourself time off, where you don't have to action anything.

@F14 you worded it so well it's so true I think it boils down to self-love/acceptence once you learn to get along with yourself you've won the first battle :) x
