I'm discovering ways to deal with my depression.. ... Also I'm learning it okay to talk about it. I have even been talking to my family making them aware of my depression and anxiety. They know I'm different then I use to be but not really why. This stuff all hit me three years ago and I've had a very hard time dealing with it. Every day I fight my depression and anxiety. Im either very active not on most days but most days I struggle to get out of bed. Accepting tge fact that I have a mental illness and focusing on what I can do to help myseld. I was on medication but it made me feel funny slept most of the day and just felt lifeless. This app has been so helpful and has provided me with alot of insight like a listener told me you can't change the things around you but you can change yourself fix yourself first and then other things will fall in there place.

Milestone 2600: No matter what stage of the healing process I am currently in, I will always need extra support surrounding anniversaries of traumatic events - and that is totally okay! I have nothing to be ashamed of: I am not what was done to me, but, instead, I am the kind of person I have chosen to become.

It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to be a mess every now and then, maybe even frequently. It's always okay to break down because everyone has there own physical and mental limits. You don't always have to hold it together.

That a lot of worry is needless
