Step 270: New experiences may not be full of roses and sunshine, but they are worth it in the end. Specifically this has to do withmy two new jobs, stock associate at Ross and Team Member at What-A-Burger.

@safeandsoundta It's always challenging taking on new things, and having two jobs is no joke. You are doing your best. Don't hesitate to reach out for support during the tougher times. The community is here for you. :)

At #170, I suppose I've just learned that it's okay to let go. I say this because I've just had to euthanize my beloved 9-year-old cat. He had feline lymphoma. I don't say this to get pity or attention. I've just been thinking about it a lot. I have "euthanasia remorse" (Google it). I keep wondering if I should have got the $500 ultrasound that would've told me for sure that he had lymphoma, and then gotten chemo and surgery - but he would have been suffering a lot and there would've been no guarantee that he would survive anyway. He had lost two pounds in two weeks and could barely summon the strength to meow. I know I did the right thing, but it's hard to feel it. But I did let go of him.

@NavyBlueFlower What you did took a lot of courage and no matter how you feel about it now, I am sure you did it with the best interests of your beloved cat at heart. It's alright to grieve as we let go of wonderful parts of our lives. We are here to support you.

I've learned that taking the first step is hard. That it takes a lot of effort just to make a small amount of progress. But making that small amount of progress can make such a difference.

I was about to have some sort of panic attack a little earlier. And just doing an exercise of breathing really helped me and I feel a lot better
