I still feel lonely, but I'm moving forward
@EugenioGarza just one step at a time, one day at a time...that's all you need to do . you'll get there !Gx
I'm learning that it's okay to say no to some things when I just don't have the time or the capacity. And I've also learned that there are a lot more people around me who are willing to help when I can't handle everything myself.
Ive learnt that it's okay to put yourself first
I've reached step 50. I've learned the importance of emptying my mind, but I still find tge mindfulless very challenging. I struggle to disconnect and concentrate.I've learned the importance of acknowledging small successes, and of keeping mistakes in perspective.
The past few days one of my beloved people goes through big issues. It's one of these situations when you know things will not go well and don't know what to do or what to say to support the other one. I am trying my best to be there when he needs me... I am putting my effort on being strong myself so i can be helpfull. It is tough...
step 264, life is a delicate balancing act of what is wanted vs. what is needed. or some other platitude with little meaning.
step 500. things havent been great lately but i know that all the little efforts add up. its so easy to tell yourself that doing something small isn't enough so why do it at all -- but doing that small thing, even if it doesn't help in the moment, will make things a little easier on you the next day and the next day. the little things add up, like every time you talk to a friend it slowly builds a better relationship, everytime you spend a little time on a project, it gets that little bit closer to done. there will be good days and bad days but keep putting in the effort you have, it DOES make a difference
@GlenM
I learned that I need to calm my protector part of myself down and let all parts of myself do their part.
24/7 they are here to help.
Lead by example and focus on the positive
