I've learnt that difficulties are transient and things can always get better. Also that there are many people on here willing to help.

@Willow88 Goodmorning. I think you've said something great here. Yes, I believe that things can get better (or change)! I'm thinking that either the situation changes or we change. I am learning through 7cups how to change myself. Changing myself by acknowledging my awareness of the situation and how it affects my body. I am learning that I can change my reaction to the situation by using the skills we are being taught here. This has only happened recently to me and it was an ah ha moment.

I give you the scenario. I was driving my good friend home from church. I asked if she was hungry. She said no and that she could wait until we get home for some homemade biscuits I'd made. While driving home still she said but I know you're hungry. So I said let's stop to get something. Then we talked about going back to church to eat breakfast there rather than eat out.

I asked her to say if I should turn around to go back to the church or go home. She said turn around. I turned around and as we approached the church she said I thought we were going home. I said no problem I can go home from here. She said, aren't you hungry? Because, she knew I needed to eat. I said, yes but I'm going home now.

During all of that, I recognized the change in me and my breathing. I noticed my breathing and breathed differently to respond to the situation. I felt good because I had controled myself in a new and different way.

My friend is a "jump start" so, my change kept us both calm.

I have been always felt bad until yesterday.

but now I am a different person with different views and I have a plan for my future. I believe my mind will lead me to my desired destiny, and I'm relieved from my pain.
