I have learned about how much my negative thoughts are hindering my progress. That I keep thinking it will ever get better. It never will if I always focus on the negative things instead of the positive things

I'm not really sure what I'm learning, honestly, but I'm in a darker spot so the may just be cynicism.

Happy step 160! 🙂

Today I want everyone to know that focusing on the positive does wonders for my life. It can be hard at first but just simply thinking of a few things that don't cause you trouble or stress can get you started on a wonderful view of your world.

That it's OK not to be OK, it's just not OK not to do anything about it! I have to be proactive and constructive in my wellness; mental, emotional, spirotual, as well as physical!smiley

@Calpepino734

Hi. I agree with you on this one. What a nice post!smiley Great observation!

We have to like ourselves too! I think that others can tell when we like ourselves. I think people can see it from the "outside"! They can tell when things are ok.

Best.....

You do not need to suffer in silence or alone. You are worth something to yourself and to others. You deserve good things in life. Your efforts to take care of yourself and others will be rewarded in kind.

@berry1900

Awesome note. Suffering in silence is a secret, in my view. So when we reveal our secrets or those thoughts that holding us hostage, we set our minds free to some degree, I think. So when we talk with listeners and therapists, we release, under professional help/direction, those things that keep us bound up in anxiety and fear. I think the key is the right professional relationship.

I am thinking we can begin a professional relationship at 7 cups that is helpful to us. I think we are the "determiners" of the path that is helpful to us and we can say, this is helping me or it is not. I think that is what I like about 7 cups. We have so many different opportunities and so many levels of support.

Wishing you Wellness as you seek the support that is best for you!

@loyalDay5445 thank you,for your kind words, encouragement and support. It amazes me still how virtual strangers can be more compassionate then people around me who see me, but not my pain; even when I do remove my mask even just a little. I want, need, and deserve more in life, so I will keep looking till I find things and people who will support me and help me heal.

I've learned that taking in mindfulness messages isn't as easy as it seems. It can take a long time to change your thinking and it is quite hard work.
