Challenges never end but my coping techniques have given me great hope. All the support I've received from my listener had helped tremendously. So grateful for her!
@Elektra99
Glad to hear that!
Step 80! I love myself again 😊

Wonderful and valuable lesson to have learned! Congrats!

Hi there, it's an everyday thing for us to love ourselves. I have a challenge for you and I am taking this challenge myself.
Let's do something loving for ourselves everyday. I am starting TODAY!!!!!
It's better to focus on the good things in life, such as what you are thankful for because those things make you feel better. Focusing on the negatives won't help you
@Nangle33
well said :)
I learned that taking the time out of my life to help with my mental illness is the greatest sign of self love there is. I'm beyond grateful for 7 cups & the tremendous positive impact it had on my life
@Briannarogers99
Taking time for yourself, and your wellness and recovery is a very healthful goal - congrats! I'm glad that you are able to find the support which you need here on the site.

Awesome! I hope you learned this before I did! I'm in my 60's! So you have a long healthy life ahead!
Best.......
I am grateful for my positive attitude that I've developed. I am proud of my confidence and bravery to shrink the circle of someone who no longer adds value to my life. I have learned that everything happens for a reason and have learned to accept the consequences of both positive and negative events in my life because you just never know what path either might lead you on
It may be hard, but being straight forward and honest with people is very important.
I tend to be very "emotionally impulsive" and can be very harsh or hurtful. When this happens it hurts me as much as the person I said something nasty to.
You must be accountable for your actions and emotions. If you are depressed or you are angry it's okay, but it's not an excuse. I know it may be hard to do in the moment, but try to think about how the world percieves you. They don't know what you're going through, they don't know what you're thinking.
You're going to mess up. You're going to make mistakes. Just be accountable, learn from them, apologize, and move forward.
If you need to take a second to process your emotions the world will wait that second for you.
@njgio
Hi, I really really am thankful that you used the word "process" here. That is so meaningful to me.
I have used this word before and "to process" for me means, giving myself time to regroup and meet that challenge on a higher level than I would if I did not process my thoughts first.
Processing is an awesome way to bring ourselves back to authenticity during challenging times.
Thanks for your post.
Best.......
Glad to have supportive people
Con 7 cups he aprendido a ser un poco más positiva y empezar a cambiar mi forma de ver las cosas.
I've reached level 60! Happiness is on the way :)
