To understand it is quite unrealistic to think that things will go your way or people will act the way you want all the time. And to see that people are black or white, just gray.

Looking at the brighter things and letting go the stuff that hurt you makes it easier for you to move on.

Music, singing, and dancing make me feel great. Songs are beautiful, and I feel like I'm part of them when I sing. I also didn't think I could sing, so I feel competent when I sing because I can actually do it. :)

I don't really know how to relate to people anymore. Now I no longer have the safety blanket of a partner at home to retreat to, I've gotta make it all happen myself. This is hard.

One thing I have learned is that being around positive people can rub off on you.

When you make the most of what you can do problems seem to become so much smaller and opportunities for better are then much more vivid.

I'm learning social media isn't what it seems. I was banned from Pinterest and had over 2k followers and now Ive started a new profile and many of them who I thought were my "friends " only seemed to like my angry, negative side. I have like 3 friends now. It's really eye-opening. Instagram isn't any better. Guess people are sick of those cat pictures. Sigh. People can be disappointing.
