I've learned that it can take time, but there are people who can help. They can be a friend, stranger, or family member. There are people out in the world who can help you if you ask.

Things can't stay the same. When good, they'll get bad. When they're bad, they'll become good. It's my job to stay the course throughout changes in things I have no control over.

Step 130:

Just because you would feel a certain way in a given situation doesn't mean the person currently experiencing that situation is feeling the same way. Empathy doesn't work perfectly, and it can be amazing how differently our minds can function.

I've learned that anxiety can at times be irrational but never irrelevant.

Step 210!

Conversations with my friends have told me about what they really saw in me, and it was full of positive.

I have also - for the first time - begun to recognize that I have a problem with performance. I want to be the best, otherwise I give up. It had never occurred to me how important that was to me. Now it gives me something I can work on and focus on. So I become the very best at not wanting to be the very best... Oh man....

I have learned it's better to do something late than to never do it at all. And it's not good to let the fact that it's late stop you from doing if at all.
