I've learned how helpful mindfulness exercises can be.
I'm learning new things, which I can start to work on in my own life, for example to do with how to create more secure attachment styles with my friends; and ways to inprove my social skills and make new friends. Hopefully learning and implementing this will make me less prone to being lonely, anxious and depressed. We are naturally social creatures after all, so that makes learning this stuff important; luckily we can still learn these things later, since I wasn't in an enviornment to learn them when I was younger.
There's a direct correlation between self care and self sufficiency. I'm able to utilize insights, handle more stress, distract myself accordingly when I have a source of positive energy saved up in my tank.
Last night my gf was sad about something and I was sad about a different thing, and we kind of made an echo chamber of sad and anxious feelings, thinking we had each caused the other's bad feelings. What am I supposed to learn from that? Maybe that.... That's a possibility for us, ask directly about it, debunk inaccuracies.... Yeah, I guess.
That I am ok as a person I need to heal from some hard stuff and find people that are there for me and I can be open with and not feel ashamed it might take a lot of time but that is ok
I learnt one thing today and that is being nice to other people is good but being too nice to bad awful people could really hurt like hell, but that shouldn't weigh you down or make you feel less of yourself. Stand on what you believe is good and remember no one can do it for you or force you to be what you're not you make that happen by yourself because you are responsible for yourself and your actions, so keep calm and thing before making any decision you know you might later regret. Still nowhere 😞
I reached step 440! I learned that even though I'm being challenged at work and hate it it can benefit me when interviewing for another job and saying how I perservered.
I've learned that I have to consistently take time for self care and make it a high priority during my day.
I'm remembering to practice gratitude and I'm seeing a difference for the better.
