Anyone can recommend the best ways of meeting people without alcohol being involved. I want to stay away from drinking for a good while.

Thx!

@Octavio Consider taking a class or joining a club that interests you, perhaps? For example, if you like dancing, consider taking dance lessons if there's a studio nearby that offers adult dance lessons. Or if you're more into sports, see if there are sports leagues you could join in your city, or if there are group activities like volleyball, tennis, etc. offered at a local rec cente. Or if physical activity is not your thing, maybe a group painting class at an art centre, or a book club, etc.?

It can be hard finding things to do, as I've found a lot of group activities in my area are geared more towards children, but try looking around and see if you can find something not involving alcohol. Best of luck!
