FH:4
I have learnt the importance of giving time for the mind. I recognise that I dedicate time towards my physical health but had been ignorant about the importance of my mental well being. I've learnt that a small change goes a long way. I'm trying to give at least 10 minutes a day for my mind. It is a small amount of time and seems insignificant, but good habits are made from small consistent changes.
I learned that I should not burden myself with thinking about things that I cannot control. My intrusive thoughts, dreams, and daydreams are not something that I can control, although I deeply wish that I could. Nor can I control my lack of empathy or my poor social abilities. I never asked to be this way. Therefore, I must simply learn to accept myself for who and what I am. However, how I act towards others can be controlled if I put forth enough effort. Being cold and selfish towards others will only make things worse for me. I need to convince myself that I don't own the world, and that everyone else is just as worthy as I am, even if they don't think like me or I feel anger towards them. I have to try to make a change, and with enough motivation on my part, I can rise to the challenge.
And that some people shouldn't be bothered with.
Learning to live a life where suicide is not an option.
When people let me down
It is my expectations
I cannot change anyone or anything but myself
I am happy that I completed 20 milestones on 7cups. I would like to imbibe all the positivity and train my thought process to always look for a brighter side of the situations. I am glad I know about the app!!
Step 60 . Woot
I have made it and will continue getting better
have pull out of depression and is charging forward to change my life for the better
I am learning to keep calm.
Remember to engage in self-care.
I am learning in the moment to accept things while I am aware of them in spite of putting them down and pretending I have accepted them
