The road to getting out of borderline hell is a long, painful and frustrating one, tolerating bad behavior and terrible manners in others is almost unendurable. It would be lovely if life was set up that everybody 'had' to treat you as you treated them or else !!!!

I lost someone close to me today.

I feel like it's all my fault.

How does one deal with such a loss.

To share good and bad days with a listener and to give and receive support are both as important as each other to help feel better

If there's one way in which I have personally improved since I started using 7Cups a few weeks ago, it would be that I'm somewhat gentler on myself and not pushing myself as hard. I've already known for a while how important it is not to be so harsh on yourself, but this might possibly be the first time that its really sinking in - very gradually, but I think I'm getting the message this time. I'm trying my best to move forward one step at a time with patience, self-acceptance, and perserverence. Its still hard, and I expect it to be hard for quite some time, but I'm willing to keep going at a steady pace.

Actually, the most helpful thing I've learned since starting with 7Cups is to be happy and proud of what you do accomplish, even if its something relatively small, rather than obsess over what you haven't done or haven't been able to do. I've been keeping track of my accomplishments, including ones that may seem so small and insiginifacnt, everyday for about two weeks.
