200 steps.. I'd never thought I'd make it here. Ever since I joined 7cups I've been learning how to become more positive and focus on the present. I've also found a safe space to express my feelings without the fear of being judged as the people here are so friendly and compassionate. I might have slipped when I stopped using this app in April but picking this back up has really helped me to get back onto my own two feet. I hope I can one day be better able to tackle my issues and depression and inspire others to do the same.

Step 216 (Gee, I have been at this a while.)

Today I learned that Facebook depresses me & I should avoid it. (I guess they aren't all deep Hallmark moments lessons. cheeky)

The number one thing I have learned. It's tough because there are so many things I could mention. The most important is probably that I not alone which I believed for such a long time.

@GlenM I've learned that I have been ACTIVELY avoiding the unpleasant things in my life instead of tackling them head first. This has caused me even more problems. Recently, I've forced myself to do all of the unpleasant things that I would typically avoid. It could be simple mundane things like avoiding taking my blood sugar readings if I think they will be too high, confronting people that hurt me, or making business phone calls.

I CAN DO IT!!!!
