Nothing for milestonwe 90.
I learned that i don't need to lose my faith in humanity because of just one bad experience.
I realised that the only person that can control my life is me
I'm not sure to be honest. A long road lies ahead..
If there's one thing I've been learning the past week, its that you simply cannot please everyone; in fact, you shouldn't even try to please most people. Each individual human being, including yourself, has their own tastes, their own beliefs, their own values, and their own issues to deal with; while we mostly certainly should care about other people around us and avoid making them feel bad, it'll only cause us misery and stress if we try to make them all happy or make them all approve of us, because it just won't happen. In the end, the only person whose opinion should really matter is your own; instead of asking yourself "Does what I do meet everyone else's approval" or "Am I good enough in the eyes of others"? you should be asking "Am I meeting my own personal values?" and "If I were to honestly examine myself as another person, would I really say that I'm not good enough?" That way, you can see just how well you are actually doing despite your constant self-criticisms and feel much more motivated to improve on certain aspects of yourself.
@FairWarning5150 Your comment is so true. The way you worded it really made me stop and reflect on the futility of trying to appeal to everyone. It's exhausting, keeps you feeling desperate for approval from others, anxious when you don't get approved of, keeps you in this constant emotional wave of up and down, from getting approval sometimes and not others, keeps you dependent on others, and may make yourself be in conflict with your own morals. Sometimes, it's downright impossible to get approval from people with opposing view points. For example, I imagine myself trying to appeal to people from every different religion and denomination at the same time and how impossible that would be. You would have to make concessions or lie to try and get approval from people with differing view points, maybe even participating in self-deception. Trying to please everyone would be so self-destructive.
Thank you for your insightful post. It's been very helpful for me to read. :)
I realized that with work. I can only get to something one thing at a time. And a moment of stress passes.
Urrg I was busy and didn't come on yesterday. Lost my streak
. Oh well. Step 46!!!
@ClarinetPrincess I feel your disappointment. I lost my streak of around the same amount as you just recently too. I felt so disappointed, guilty, and even ashamed of myself that I forgot to log in. But now I'm turning that into determination to get back up to the streak I had going, and continuing from there. I hope you'll be able to get back on track too, if that's still important to you. All the best! :)

I have learned that other people's advice is valuable and I should take it into account.
I have no milestones to share right now, but I would like to share a some simple words.
I believe that Milestones are built on a foundation, but greater ones are built from failure.
