What I'm going through is not because I'm broken or I come from a past of darkness. This is my birthright - because I am an individual, I have the right to forge my own path and be proud of it.
I'm relearning to take chances and to have hope in my self enough to do so confidently and courageously. I am worth taking chances for.
I haven't been in a good mood the last few days so it's been hard to pick up anything from my progress path. I need to keep trying though and next time I will have learned something
I've realized that how I treat my abuser is up to me, and that I've been conflating a moral decision with whatever will absolve me from more judgement.
