@GlenM I have learned that the difficulty of being emotionally honest is worth the challenge. I learned that I love myself enough to get better. And I am getting better, slowly. <3333

I learned that it's okay if you don't get anything done for a day because your too stressed out to focus. And that it's important to talk to other people even if it seems like a tiny problem compared to others.

I've learnt to trust myself more, that I should look after myself and trust in my resilience

A year. I can't believe it. I am not the person who first started here, and I can start to envision what next year's person is going to be - generally. I am refusing to tell myself I have to change, or I have to grow, but just am listening to the cues life and my internal compass are giving me. Yes, it's slow, but I own it - it's my development for my benefit.

The last 10 steps have been, necessary. I just needed to break out of my routine and high self expectation for a while. To stop self sacrificing and to self-care until the point that I'm ready soon to go back to the workforce etc. at full capacity.

I learnt a lot about how the brain works, why I am susceptible to stress and what I can do to overcome it.

Turns out, PD is just a way that life is asking me to learn something to prepare me for the future!
