I've learned that whatever "space" I'm in at any given moment is absolutely okay. Don't fight it or deny it, accept it, process it, let it go & move forward. Taking from it all that it was meant to give me to help me grow as a unique individual with humility, peace, grace, perseverance, authenticity, strength and love... perfectly imperfect 🌻

To be patient with myself and the process of growing. Nothing happens all at once. Even if we want it to.

@faithfulPapaya5180 -

Grin. We are more like trees than buildings; the best way to make a tree grow is to give it nourishment and allow it to pursue its natural goal. Buildings can be built and rebuilt, and the faster you do this, the more you can miss the little details that make them great.

We can't rush ourselves, we can't rush life. I wouldn't want to.

@thoughtfulTriangle4746 true we are like trees. But I often do not get the water and nutrients I need as my wife is not as affectionate as I am and in fact does not like it. So when I can really use a hug or holding of the hand it does not happen and my leaves begin to fall off.

@GlenM It's a small thing, but I've learned that breathing exercises can be helpful interventions.

I learned that my parents really set me up for a hard and miscommunicated life by the way I was raised

I learnt that changes come a small step at a time and that, even if you can't change yourself the way you wanted, you can surely change the way you see yourself

Emotional wellness can be step by step. It can be one day at a time and you can learn something through a simple routine.
