Taking a few minutes each day or turning to 7cups when I need it is very helpful and beneficial to my overall health and happiness

I have learned that kindness is what matters in life. That's what it boils down to at end of day

(i also learned that assuming the feeling is effective, i have challenges but attempt to act as if i have overcome 'em... I assume the feeling of abundance rather than scarcity :))

I also try remember to take it one moment at a time. As i often am a big picture human. But one moment personally is the way to go

I have learned following the Living Healthy growth path that my overall emotional health follows my physical health. When I daily eat right, strength train and do cardio, after 3 even 2 days the stagnating symptoms of depression and fatigue are replaced with those of bright energy and motivation. If I were to give this a metaphor (which is a good thing since it will give my brain and memory an image to associate with this abstract thought) I'd say my emotions are a beloved, faithful dog who wants to do and is intensely interested in whatever h/her master is involved in. When my body is not moving or, worse, is also being fueled with life-dehancing foods, faithful emotions follow suit - obdiently and blindly. Pant pant pant, bark bark bark. Well, I've been dog owner. I love dogs! And when my dogs were unhappy, I'd always do things to cheer them up. And the things that cheer them up are also things that cheer me up - a long walk, a meander, frisky play, lounging under the shade of a tree. Win win!

Remember, if you can't run you can always crawl...As long as you move forward. Take baby steps everyday and know that you are getting there (slowly but steady). At the point of givng up, say to yourself "I will still carry on" - you may have just reached your goal. When you do, don't look back.
