I have to learn that, at my age, I may stay 20 pounds overweight. I have to love and respect my body even if it is aging and chubby. It has served me well for 62 years. Its unfortunate for my confidence that my twin sister weighs only 98 pounds and I was called the fat twin but I can still look as best I can.

@Lemonsandroses1973

i believe that youre doing the best you can...

i am also struggling with my weight and my family is slim.. so Im the fat one and thats very bad for my self esteem. Our best is enough. Theres also beauty in a chubby body. We have to be proud of the best of us. Youre not alone.. 💐

Step 180! I've learned this:

We all want to save the world, but it's okay if you only ever save one person, and it's okay if that person is yourself.

Every night I title a page in my journal "tomorrow" and I make a list of all the people who love me and I make sure my name is on the top.

@fictionalfangirl i love what you have written. True, we can not change the world, but we can change the world of that particular person ^_^

I followed my intuition and didn't think too much. Second guessing is futile

Step 180. Learned that talking to someone about my depression makes my whole day better, especially if I enjoy talking to said person.
