Ive reached step 50! Ive learned that we often describe our struggles or lives in general in terms of metaphor. Sadness = a deep pit, worries = a neverending spiral, etc. Learning to view our lives through positive and empowering metaphors rather than hopeless ones can help a lot! For instance, I used to think about my life as a flatlining reading on a heart monitor. But now I try to think about it as a path that I can only see a small part of at a time.

Woohoo on step 50! Thats awesome! And wow, I do love that input! Its quite true that we look at life through negative metaphors. And another one I have for your flatline reading metaphor- there might be minuscule spikes upwards that you dont see if you dont actively look close enough. xx

Im learning that I need to train my brain, like any other muscle, to change. Its not easy, takes time, and there are times of failure but eventually I can improve.
