Step 91 completed! What stuck with me most was something diplomaticconfucious said:

'I don't cry because I'm weak, I cry because I have been strong for too long.'

This... opens up a whole new view of the last 25 years...

Thank you, 7cups-community.

The more you work on yourself, the more you realize there is this core that is beautiful. The rest of the stuff gets peeled off. The process isn't finding something new, but more like finding the core. It's not as large or shiny, or brilliant, but it is so you, you can't ignore its perfection. This is what you've been looking for.

In the end, it's not discovery, but remembering who you are. Re-member - put it back together.

It's simple, and what the old guys (thousands of years ago) said the only really valuable work you can do.

Oh - I said simple. Not easy. The instructions are all over the place. You'll halt, and come back later, and jjust pick up again. There's no rule that says you can't, and your friends are always around you, saying, "great to see you shining again". That's all you need from anything outside yourself. Not that it's okay, or you're doing it right. Just that what you are doing is making change.

I have not cut for a while. I get the desire to but remember that people who love me, dont want me to self harm. I had the desire to today, but listened to music and talked to my friend instead. Its okay to hurt. cry it out, then fight on.
