I can only continue to grow and heal if I truly take time each day to challeng each negative thought, find new ways to reconnect in safe relationships and feel my feelings for what they are today with the full realization that they are not permanent and I have control over my choices to change how I deal with them.

@GlenM That is okay to ask for help, and is better yet to offer help when you can.

60: learning to evaluate my emotional response. Is it appropriate for the situation? If I am afraid of something, is there danger to merit fear? I am learning that I control my thoughts, actions, and emotions. They do not control me

@Need2findMe So True! Im trying to do the same

@heartonsleeve

It's been HARD. My first instinct is always react. I had to start slow and be determined with one situation to keep my mouth closed for 30 seconds. Breathe. And say only I'm sorry you feel that way. Takes sooooo much patience and practice. I feel way better though being able to stop the negative feelings

I'm actually really proud of my self for once. It's one thing to know there is a problem, but to find a resolution and implement it is another

I am learning how to cope with this anxiety I have. I am and still am learning different techniques to deal with social anxiety. I have a good support by my side which is my love. I am using all of the tools available to me to cope with this.

Started a new job, one that not many people out there particularly love. But I have decided to take this in stride and find ways to practice positivity, wellness, and gratitude at work!
