It's okay to focus on trivial things as reasons to stay alive, even if it's just "for a few more days".

I have learned that the path to a more balanced mental outlook takes time and effort. One step at a time, every day, and its not always linear but overtime I feel stronger

I had an epiphany last night...he is a liar and thats all hell ever become. It felt like a weight had been lifted from my chest the moment I accepted the fact that the truth just isnt in him and never will be. Ever word that comes out of his mouth is perceived as a lie to me now until proven otherwise. I have accepted him for who he truly is versus who I wanted him to be which keeps me from ever being hurt again by him.

What is kept unsaid in the mind, can sound ridiculous when brought into a he real world: spoken. I can shatter deeply held beliefs just by speaking them and then hearing just how ridiculous it all sounds.

I learned that there are many ways to cope with stress and worries. By simply writing these feelings down in the forums, it seems like a weight is lifted from my back. People understand it here!
