I can't recall the last time I had a negative thought or was in a low spirit. Thank you all for being such great support: you are a miracle.

Growth is always a difficult, and at times painful, process. Each new step brings you closer to your goal, that is true - however, what what most do not understand about our plight is that no matter how small the step may seem from the outside, it is a major victory for us. Even if all you do today is get up and tidy your space, go out for a cup of coffee or tea, take a short walk, or cook a healthy and nutritious meal, celebrate it! No matter what problems you face, doing something small that challenges your growth in some way is a great boon to your overall wellness. A grand journey is but the culmination of many small steps and actions. Each new step you take makes the next just a little bit easier, but take care not to lose momentum or you might find yourself back at the start.

Today I celebrate waking early, getting dressed, and going down to my favorite coffee shop to read a good book with a pot of tea. I also celebrate running around taking care of some important errands yesterday evening for several hours with few problems. If I keep this up, who knows what I might be capable of tomorrow?

That is so nice. I'm afraid to make plans yet but maybe I can start to do some of these everyday. Right now I just plan to have an ice cream sandwich when I have to go out in my car to stressful places. At least I start out happy!

I've learnt in my four year struggle with depression, that the hardest thing is reaching out for help, but help always comes when you least expect it.

I've learned to treat myself the way I treat others. I would never be so hard on strangers for their problems!

I've just made it to Step 76. I've learned that the world is filled with folks fighting the same battles I am and that these folks are wonderful, sharing, caring people.
