After a few months of suffering in silence I finally opened up and told someone about my depression! I was overwhelmed by how supportive they were and how much they cared for me. It has helped so much, and I think that it has definitely helped push me towards eventual recovery. :)

I've learn that I'm not alone, and that having someone to talk to is really nice and helpful :)

Step 125 :O

But I feel empty anyways... Maybe some ASMR before sleep time can help me.

This website has shown me many things:

* I am not alone in my struggles. There are lots of people who go through the same thing, and they are the best people ever, and they can easily help. I have never felt more sure about talking about my depression with others until now.

* Everything is in your own head. I have always had anxiety problems, and I have frequent attacks. In my head, I would tell myself to panic, and have the attack. After doing I couple of mindful exercises, I have learned ways to control myself and not have these attacks as frequently as I do.

* I am not as worthless as I thought. Every single one of us has some value in this world, and I have found that people, even complete strangers, appreciate me. I feel accepted in this community!

Keep going, you'll do great! :)

I discovered this website for the first time today. As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression, it's hard to relate to people because they don't get it. But here, people do. I hope this place stays as amazing as it seems to be, because I know that at least I could use the support.

What I learned here, please don't be rude, I know I should have realized those much earlier.

- Good people exist. And not everybody likes rude and powerful people

- There indeed IS hope for those depressed, and feeling hopeless

- Money, and possessions are not everything

- Everybody can be depressed, it doesn't make you different

- BE wise with doctors, don't rely too much on a therapist if it doesn't feel right

- Be wise with medication

- What works for me, may not work for you

- Mentally ill doesn't mean not good enough

- Happiness is best shared
