thanks to 7 cups of tea, i learned that being positive by reminding yourself of the things that you are grateful for helps in overcoming the feeling of being unworthy.
@blueBlueberry2025 i am so glad that you like it here... :) keep progressing dear... <3 we are here for you:)
"everything is ok right now." I couldn't have sincerely said that 10 days ago. three days after I determined to stop using diazepam I got an email from 7cupsoftea, "we have not heard from you in a while..." I've been signed in continuously and taking steps on the growth path as I experience withdrawal since I got that reminder. I had forgotten ever visiting. I took 10 to 20 mg of diazepam every night for three years. reading about withdrawal in advance gave me an advantage, and the program at 7cupsoftea has been a focus of positive emotional development. a lot of the meditations include this affirmation, "everything is OK right now." is very comforting and empowering. I can't translate that into conventional "learning". it's a new way of perceiving. grateful.
@bestLime981 i am so glad that you like it here... having someone affirm it will be alright is the best medication... i am ao happy to see you progress... :D
lots of positive vibes your way... :D
we are here for you always... :D
Today isn't so bad so far. Hopefully I'll have time to work on my own writing/art at some point.
I've learned that Self-love isn't selfish, and that there are a lot of things worth living for.
I learned that I'm not alone and that if I get out more I'd be a better person.
there are lots of good resources on this site
@gelfling Agreee
I am having less negative thoughts running through my head
Step 40. I've learned to relax for the most part during the mindfulness mediation. Although the "giving and receiving love" one was not pleasant in any way what so ever because it made me think of my dead cat. I was inconsolable for hours and my boyfriend didn't enjoy that at all. It's sometimes difficult to think of three things to be positive about but I try to think of new things everytime. The steps are helping but I think it would be better if there were more "tools" or different things to do.
@Shoebox Nice Job! Keep it Up. <3
To try to be more accepting of myself.
@RoseQuartzWaters That's a really positive thing to do. I'm proud of you. :)
