Have had a shitty week, feeling really depressed and not seeming to accomplish much. Self-esteem affirmations and 'things you did well today' helps me even if I was late to work and felt depressed all day.

@skinicki I'm so sorry your week hasn't been going well. :( Stay strong. <3

being isolated with my computer and feeling alone and depressive motivated my participation here at 7cupsoftea, but as I continue on the growth path I feel that I may be attaching myself further to this machine instead of getting out and exploring social potential; this is a weird paradox, because this program may be inspiring me to participate less in this program. but it was past failures socially that led to this profound isolation that truly feels like the end of my life. I'm really stuck. I'm facing two difficult challenges and completely alone. I am now wondering if this program is actually enabling me to avoid confronting the challenges, or to recognize that these challenges are just illusions that I can potentially disregard, as I embrace a new way of life based on meditation. this is all so new to me that I can only hope to find answers along the path that will keep me moving. for the moment this is all I have. in a way it's incredibly morose for me to think that all I really have in my life that is reliable is a website where I so far have yet to make any direct social contact (probably because I don't know how. ) advice is welcome. I feel like there are people here but I don't know how to contact you !?!?

@bestLime981 I can check out your feed, see the #gratitude and #postitivefocus things that the path asked you to do, but I can't find a button to message you directly. Weird. I hit "follow" so that I could read your stuff, but I don't know if there's actually a way for us to talk to each other? I don't know if you'll ever see this message, because even though you get a notification that someone responded to you, it requires remembering which page of this thread that you posted on or reading through the last five pages of it....

Anyway, I'm around the same level as you but it took me weeks longer, and I thought I was going through it pretty fast. Maybe you want to consciously limit how many activities you do per day (stop after you reach a milestone each day, or something) so that you can continue to practice but also be mindful in your daily life and not feel like you're avoiding living it.
