There are people like me.
@estherann - Glad to hear you've found people to relate too, that's awesome!
My girl has a bad temper, may get it from me, I have been teaching her to meditate instead slamming doors and stomping.
It is helping me at the same time :)
@braveOak6100 - Amazing to hear just how much meditation has helped the both of you, keep it up!:)
I've learned on this journey that I am in charge of my own emotions. No one can make you feel a particular way without your permission.
@Whimsy84 - Well done to you! So pleased to hear that you feel in control, great to hear how your journey has helped you, keep it up:)
My anxiety has been much more controlled using this. Even better than yoga. Yoga will be my next step in helping once I get there. But the listening exercises especially help. I have less nervous energy and even my headache went away! :)
@Khaiy - Aww, that's brilliant news, so thrilled for you! That really is incredible, you're an inspiration to us all!:)
getting better at being thankful
@Reid2012 - Brilliant! So glad things are getting better for you, good luck with the rest of your journey!:)
The #1 thing I learned on this leg of my journey was how important it is to talk to people and be open and honest with them. Before I started talking to my family, friends, and people on 7 cups, I suffered from anxiety. As soon as I started opening up about everything that I was going through, that anxiety was gone and I felt so much better. I didn't feel alone anymore and I saw how hurt people (particularly my family) was when they found out how much I hid from them. I now know that no matter what I'm going through, people will support me and love me the same.
@CharlieGreene - That's truly inspirational! I don't think you could have worded it any better! So great to hear that you've found opening up to be so beneficial, I hope things carry on being so positive for you! Thankyou so much for sharing this!:)
