320: Today I learned that organized group chats are not for me :(

I was really hoping I would like the experience as I have a tremendous amount of anxiety, despite what the emotional wellness test shows. IT always lists me as extremely depressed and extremely stressed, but having no anxiety, because the questions are worded in such a way that they only take physical symptoms into consideration, rather than racing thoughts, muscle tension (which is actually muscular), aches and pains... all of which are the result of anxiety as well, and the build up of cortisol and adrenalin. I am on beta blockers, so I do not experience racing heart or trembling hands when I am experiencing anxiety. I feel really upset every day when I take that thing and it tells me I have NO anxiety. I'm RIDDLED WITH IT!! It is what keeps me glued to my computer and to this website all day long... it is what prevents me from going to the couch to relax. Depression would have me laying on my ass all day watching TV and movies. But I can't do that... whilst I do go in and out of depression as my hormone levels are fluctuating in menopause, I never seem to get rid of my anxiety for any length of time, aside from a few minutes of mediation. But then it's right back again. So, I wish these tests could be reworded, or perhaps even a different test could be used to assess anxiety levels. that way I'd have a better sense of if what I'm doing here on this site is actually helping me, instead of being told every day that I have no anxiety at all... or very little.

Sorry to ramble here... that's my anxiety talking. I mean who else would go through 20 to 40 levels per day on their growth path except an incredibly anxious person?? The thing is, I could take my lorazepam and not feel any anxiety but the drawback is that I also lose my memory and will to live. No thanks.

I learned that sometimes before things get good they might get bad a little bit but as long as youre strong and keep moving forward then nothing will stop you from achieving your goals.
