I just made it to #10. I know that isn't very far, but this is a big deal for me to reach for help in any way. I have learned that it is ok and normal to need help.

I'm learning that i'm quick to judge, slow to forgive and in the end its me that it hurts.

@technerd86, Acknowledging what you're doing wrong to hurt yourself is the first and most important step. These are things you can fix, and you can start to feel better. Keep your chin up, and remember that we are all here for you.

Having just started this, so far I've listened to two mindfulness exercises. I've realized I don't know how to "shut off" the stress part of my brain. If I don't repeat over and over in my head what I'm supposed to be doing, or focus on every single syllable of what the recording is saying, I can't focus. I don't know what it means to "be kind" to myself during breathing and meditation.

@MoonOak20698, Figuring out what's "wrong" can sometimes be the hardest part, but it seems as though you've figured it out! That's one of the first and most important steps. I want you to know that this is something you can change and fix. Just keep trying. I believe in you.

I'm learning to be more mindful. Circumstances do not create emotions, only thoughts create emotions.
