Step 20. I am not as pathetic as I thought I am :) There is still hope for me.
@plaskiMistrz step 20 is already something. keep going! :)
to stay focused on what's important
@purpleCity7778 yes, focusing is my big problem!
I'm starting to feel less awkward while going through my path, yay!
@LittleRaccoonPaws why you were feeling awkward?
@LittleRaccoonPaws why you were feeling awkward?
@Natalie688 Because those steps seem so easy, but when I'm told to relax my whole body just tenses up and I'm like: easy, easy, you're doing just the opposite! I failed at those things so mane times...
I have learned that on here, i am not alone
@Kam82 yes, you are not alone. There are plenty of us with you : )
I've gained some great thoughts to share with others for there struggles!
step 50. Wow. I've learned alot so far but mostly I have some very backwards and destructive thought patterns.
Me to. I'm backwards, shy, insecure, and negative alot. So I see how you feel about the thought patterns they can get to you pretty easily. Hopefully things will get better for us both.
I made it to 10 cups. Trying to work on my goals to fix myself as well as things in life. Its going to take a while and I know it's not going to be easy but as long as I stay positive and remember what I've learned here than I know I can make it through. Even though I have been depressed and insecure. I just have to get rid of all those negative thoughts and remember to hope for the good and look at the progress I have made so far.
I see me in everything and everyone.
@thewintershadow how is that?
@Natalie688 Simply because when I feel pleasant about myself, I enjoy the perception that I have of the world around me and when I feel bad about myself, this mirrors into the world outside and I see the less pleasant aspects of things. Thank you for your question, Natalie.
I am on #10 and I've learned it's so beneficial to just talk about what's really wrong instead of trying to sort them out in your head :)
@affectionateKitten346 keep going! :)
Today was the first day in nearly a week where I didn't wake up and uncontrollably sob and despair for hours. I feel remotely ok, and this in itself, is a mini-miracle as I have been in the depths of despair for some time but especially this past week.
I don't want to question why I was suddenly feeling ok enough to dye my hair, shower, paint my toes, get dressed and brush my teeth, I am just satisfied with it. I am not going to live in the future and become anxious of this feeling going away and feeling desperate again. I will have good and bad days.
I feel remotely ok today. This is a miracle. Hope and positive vibes to you all.
@nobuochick You don't know me, and I don't know you, but I want you to know that I am extremely proud of you for achieving this accomplishment, and also for having the courage to share it with us.
@quietDime4559 I had a bit of a relapse shortly after posting this and had a panic attack, but I made it through another day. Thank you for your kind words :)
