To have at least one thing to be thankful for. I never really think about it but just reminding myself I'm not 100% on my own makes me feel a little better

i just completed my 10th? step on here today(i started on here last night). the reason why i joined is because i came to terms with the fact that i need to get past my depression. i would get to the point that i wouldn't get out of bed, talk to anyone, nothing..and after a few days of being like that i'd feel useless and become suicidal. every time it has ever gotten that bad (which thankfully hasn't been often) i've self harmed, and i've realized i need to stop this and fight back against my depression before it's too late. i'm happy to say last nght was the first time i've ever been suicidal and made t through the night without self harming and i can only thank the people on here for that <3

I've only reached #10. I've learned so far that it helps to be consistent and to count your blessings, not your mistakes.
