Mindfulness is important and actually helps solve problems. It doesn't feel like I'm avoiding the problem, like I thought it would feel.

@IshaRhee Very well said. Mindfulness brings in the much required clarity and helps u in solving ur issues/problems.

@IshaRhee I completely agree! In some ways, it makes me stop so that I can clarify the problems I am trying to solve and then go forward from there after the mindfulness activity.

So, just a pretty small lesson... I learned that I need to try to get out of the house for more than just going to the store. Going out is refreshing even if it's difficult and it helps me feel like I've accomplished something during the day.

I've learned that recovery is a journey in which I can learn a lot from the people that I meet and in which I can grow more consciusness of my self.

admitting you need help was the scariest thing but most liberating thing at the same time. It feels so good to be on a path that will better my life long term.
