Embodiment of Devotion

As I paint the divine form of Lord Jagannath, every stroke feels like a prayer, every colour a reflection of His boundless grace. In creating this art, I don’t just see Him, I feel Him. My heart overflows with gratitude for the chance to connect with the Lord in such a sacred way. May this humble offering be a symbol of devotion, and may His blessings continue to guide my hands and spirit.

To all who read this, may Lord Jagannath bless you with peace in your heart, clarity in your path, and abundance in all that you do.
Jai Jagannath!

@MissyisMissy

Hi Missy,

Thank you for sharing such a powerful and beautiful hand painted image. You really are very talented and your devotion for lord Vishnu is inspiring. Coming across your post gave me a very positive feeling.

I would like to share a thought that crossed my mind seeing your image. My mom bought a set of idols for me when i was very young. It was Lord Krishna, Balaram & Subhadra, and she told me that they resemble me and my elder brothers. I was so excited. I still get emotional at the very thought of it. I don't have the idols anymore but i still remember them by heart. I lost my eldest brother coule of years back. And my second elder brother is also unwell. I miss their company and its heart wrenching to imagine myself, Subhadra alone. Life's been really hard ever since trauma stuck us. Dad  is old and terminally ill now. But i'm staying strong, as always. And i hope i can have a good life even if my dad & brothers can't protect me anymore. They are always in my thoughts and in my prayers.

Jai Jaganath! :)
