Thank you, for reaching out with your tiny hands, for pulling me up with all your strength, for laughing out loud when you couldn't pull me out, for settling there and showing some care, for allowing the tears to flow without fears, for lending your shoulder and being my boulder, for ebbing my fears and being my anchor, for hugging me tight, and whispering 'it's alright'.

Wish I could keep you here, wish i could walk away, wish i could never let myself get in your way, why did our paths cross, that I'll never know, but I'll always be grateful for the love and compassion you showed, but now it's time for us to let go.
