Furry Friends!
I am grateful for them. Yes, their timing can be bad at times but I think it would be harder without them. They are glad that I am there and that is enough. Of course today they will be extremely happy to see me when I get home because I went to the pet store...

@Enthenia awwww your fur babies are soooo cute💖 I have 3 little piggies 😁 (guinea pigs) they are on the floor running around through a jungle of tunnels right now😁 they are so funny💖
@Tinywhisper11 I had a guinea pig named Joe when I was little. I don't remember him very well now. He was black, white, and brown but that's all I can recall.

I lovee them❤️❤️ and my cat helps a lot 🥰 wheather it's distracting me from harmful thoughts or jus comforting me with his purrs I'm so glad to have suffi (it's his name) <3 I wish you have a great time with them! 🐾😁
@fossilfellow this is going to be a very stressful month (if this week is any indication) and I really think they help keep me grounded. Because of them, I have to keep at it, no matter how difficult things become.

@milkywaycitizen and sometimes a handful. The dog expects me to play with her toy at three in the morning sometimes. The cat demands things from me when I'm trying to do something else. But, they are animals and I can't really expect anything else from them.
@Enthenia if I can I will adopt all cats and dogs in the world lol. I'm very soft for animals and love them truly. I have cats but if I can I'll also adopt a dog. But a dog has more responsibilities and cats more independent. I want to be fully there for my pets. But I love them all really
@milkywaycitizen mine can get very demanding for attention or treats. But she's old (think she's over 15). Don't know how she puts up with the dog.
The dog is a herder so she's got a lot of energy. It's gotten too hot for her to go out in the afternoon so keeping her busy can be challenging.

@Aec619 I tend to do better with animals than people even though the cat and I haven't always gotten along. The dog was scared of me at first but that was because she was uprooted from her home. She still doesn't trust my brother who brought her over as a surprise present almost three years ago but she'd be lost without me. She didn't want me to go to the store by myself yesterday but she isn't a legitimate service dog and I don't feel right about bringing regular dogs into a store unless it's a pet store.
@Enthenia they truly love you a lot! Animals are really pure and good-hearted, I love them so much! Thank you so much for caring about these sweet souls, you are making a big difference in their lives trust me and they know it! You are their family!
@Aec619 their presence does help. More often than not, it seems that no matter what I do, it's not really all that significant or I should be doing so much more than I am.
So long as I feed them and give them attention, they are content.
@Enthenia you are doing a wonderful job and taking care of them, this is the most important thing along with showing them love! I am so happy you care about them! You are amazing and I am sure they know how much you love them!

But yes, it's not boring. Most of my afternoons are spent playing with someone. We're in the middle of an extreme heat warning so she can't go out when I get home in the afternoon.

I feel like playing hide n seek with the dog lol seems like the perfect dog to play that with. I would have taken care of the dog in the morning if I was a genie lol.

@spectacularPrince I did that when we took the trash out yesterday. Scared her a bit though because she wasn't expecting it. I expected her to come back and find me. I ducked down the stairwell on the other side of our apartment. Waited about a minute or two and looked around the wall and she was relieved.
Felt a little bad afterwards but I thought she'd come looking for me.
