I am stuck. I have been given plenty of good advice but seem unable to follow through on it.

I have tried Journaling. It feels award and i never know what to write. The process is so forced i quit after a few days.

Meditation. Although relaxing i don't get anything else out of it. I don't get the insight that euploidy you can gain from this.

Gratitude List. This one is very frustrating. I have done the exercise were you write down three things you are grateful for each day. My gratitude never grows. I still only have my three items.

In general i have similar problems with everything that is intended to help; Compassion, self love, reaching out to others, etc...

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, and it's clear that you're struggling with finding strategies that work for you. It's important to acknowledge that everyone's journey is unique, and what works for one person might not work for another. It's also okay to feel frustrated when trying different techniques.

First of all, it's great that you've been open to trying various methods to improve your well-being. It's important to remember that progress might not always be linear, and it's okay to have setbacks. It's also important to give yourself credit for even attempting these strategies – that in itself is a step towards growth.

Regarding journaling, it's completely normal to feel awkward or unsure of what to write about. Instead of focusing on the quality or content of your writing, try to use journaling as a way to express your thoughts and emotions, without judgment. You can even start by writing about your struggles with journaling itself.

Meditation can be challenging to find insights from immediately. Remember that meditation is about creating a space for yourself, and over time, you might start noticing subtle changes in your thought patterns and reactions. Patience is key here.

Gratitude lists might feel limited at times, but they're meant to help shift your focus towards the positive aspects of your life. Instead of aiming to increase the number of things you're grateful for, try to deeply connect with those three things you write each day. Reflect on why they matter to you.

When it comes to self-compassion, self-love, and reaching out to others, these are all long-term processes. Don't pressure yourself to master them overnight. Small steps count – even reaching out to someone briefly or being kind to yourself for a moment are steps in the right direction.

Remember, seeking professional help from a therapist or counselor can be immensely valuable. They can provide tailored guidance and support based on your individual needs. It's also okay to take breaks from certain techniques if they're causing more frustration than benefit.

Lastly, be patient with yourself. Healing and personal growth take time, and it's okay to not have all the answers right now. You're making an effort, and that's a significant step towards positive change.

I mentioned similar frustrations regarding these activities with my therapist and in talking it out realized that I need to be moving or doing multiple things at a time. So for example, I walk and listen to a meditation on the Calm App. Or I do a body scan or breathing with music or TV in the background. I found it helpful to combine everyday things with the exercises that are supposed to help me relax and unwind. If I don't they went helpd because I'm to busy trying to get them "perfect" or trying to hard to just relax.

Yes, this word carries a great meaning ((I am stuck)) I felt it very much and tried to get out of it by trying some methods and I will tell you about them: 1. Traveling and changing places helped me get out of the situation 2. Changing the decor of the room or salon or both 3. making new friends 4. Agriculture and touching soil and plants 5. Breeding a cat or a dog 6. Helping someone who feels the same situation, I never think of many solutions for him, and therefore I will get out of this situation 7. Reading the books of religions and understanding their goals and meaning, and this is what I am doing now because I am stuck in a very, very, very difficult situation, but I am trying many ways. 👍💐
