Maybe a Funny or Complex Ideology

I'm not sure 🤔 how many people will agree or disagree with me. If this feels very personal to anyone, let me first offer my 🙇‍♂️ apology. I don't like the concept of searching for and falling in love 💕 in school, college, university, or the workplace. I just don’t see those places as spots to find love. How many of you agree or disagree with me? 😌🤔

I disagree quite strongly with school.

The workplace, depends and it can be trickier. A part time or summer job while a student it's usually a lot less of a problem. In a career it can be difficult to navigate, especially if it's someone that one works with directly and a promotion happens as an example.

School, I wouldn't say go into class looking for love (but it's also ok to date a classmate). I spent such a large amount of time on campus though, and it's a place where it's easy to meet 100s of people. It's often a third place (see Wikipedia link for explanation https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_place ). Some people even live on campus. Many happy relationships start at school and I see nothing wrong with being open to a relationship there. I met my husband at school, mostly in connection with a student club that I was heavily involved with and was my 3rd place, but he was in a few classes with me too. Other people I spent time with there are also happily married.

@GreatestClassiest love can sometimes just happen and surprise you, always be open to the possibilities 🥰 the stronger love for me starts with friendship but I think the workplace is too complicated and can blur boundaries 😊

@GreatestClassiest don't agree with the school thing though. I met the love of my life in school, though unfortunately my love is cruelly one-sided. It's better to meet ppl in real places instead of the cheesy dating apps( for me personally that concept sucks).

@GreatestClassiest Lol, For me, love is a impossible thing. tbh, i dont have the courage to even talk. But I dont care, if someone can find their special ones in any place as long as its within boundaries.

Wow that sounds like another eternal bachelor. Yup I also have almost same thought because everyone is independent to find love👌😌

@GreatestClassiest Some people get diplomas and a soulmate while others just get group projects and existential dread I suppose😂😂

Yeah, true. It looks strange to me when I see many world-famous people found their better half in college or university. It feels like my view falls under rare examples. 🤔🤔

@GreatestClassiest  Just because something worked out for a few well-known faces doesn’t mean it’s the standard or even ideal. We’re all on our own timelines and that’s more than okay 😌✨

I disagree w/ the work place. My wife & I were in the Navy together and worked as Hospital corpsman at the same hospital. We met, fell in love and have been married for 35 happy years. I think you never know where love is going to present itself and you have to be open to accepting  it.

@GreatestClassiest I think people can and do fall in love anywhere, but a lot of times it's also just a physical attraction and doesn't last. Workplace dating can be disastrous, though I know a lot of people that have found their spouses that way. I also know a lot of people that dated co-workers, and it caused a lot of drama and tension and resentment with their peers because their personal life was brought into the workplace too much. And then when the relationships didn't work out, also a lot of bad workplace discomfort. Depends on the job and the individuals, I guess. If they can maintain a professionalism while at work and keep their private lives at home.
