Yes :D I will do my best! Shodashi is another name for a goddess called Tripura Sundari, whose name means something like, "Beauty of the 3-Worlds," which can mean a lot of different things--that she rules over the senses of past/underworld, present/Earth, and future.

She appears in the scriptures I am familiar with sometimes as a child around the age of 8, and sometimes as a teenager (16 years of age, Shodashi meaning the number 16). 8 and 16 are sacred numbers probably in part of their relationship to the holy number 4, there being 4 Vedas. She represents the natural acumen of a creative, happy child/youth and sometimes is described as rising from the navel of Shiva, a great Divine Masculine figure, as a daughter or even supreme symbol of the "core" of Shiva's tapasya and devotion to the Divine.

Forgive me all my misstatements here, as this tradition is old as time and I am bound to misrepresent some details or get some things wrong. :)
