@jesusredeemedme2425 I have mild Dyslexia. My father also has it. We both have no problem in reading or talking. But have bad handwriting, misspell words a lot, and skip words sometimes when reading a question. 

I got teased a lot in school for my bad handwriting. I didn't know I had Dyslexia so I tried so hard to get perfect handwriting but failed. (our middle school was super interested in perfect handwriting) 

But the good news is that Dyslexia didn't affect my education after 10h grade. 😊

I was diagnosed late. Growing up people thought I was just slow but I'm actually pretty smart (surprised me too!) My handwriting is horrible! I like to read but it takes me time and it's tiring. I skip or leave out words when reading or writing or typing and I lose my place a lot when reading. I also have dyscalculia and struggle with math

I can spell Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis off the top of my head, I read quickly, but it’s bc I found all sorts of little tricks to help me. When I’m reading, I kinda gloss over things. I still mess up my spelling, I just don’t use the words I don’t know as well.

I don’t really read in a line. I kinda just absorb a chunk of a page. I lose my spot a lot, especially when going to a new line. I use line readers on computers, but sometimes those don’t even work and it’s better to just hold a pencil on the screen under the line I’m reading.

It’s weird, it’s def not what you hear about everyday. I’ve done a lot of studying to get better, so it’s roughly managed. I write in cursive all the time so it’s neater, but handwriting all caps is actually hard for me. Idk why, I guess it just looks different

Hi, I have dyslexia. My mom figure this out when I was at the age of around 9 years old. She took me to a specialist and the specialist provided me with a colour paper to read words and numbers easier (not fully solving everything but it helps)

The way how I write and draw is different from anyone else. It’s been years now and I’m gonna be honest it’s not easy you will need to work harder than others. I love reading books but I’ve never ever read finish a book. The most I can go was always 7-8 pages.

When I was in school, people laughed at me and look at me differently. My grades were always bad. But as soon as I got older I just find my way. Graphic are always easier to see. And physical works are always easier. But for me I love reading books, to what solution I found was buy any books until i feel like I am really interested in. But I gotta tell you this, I’ve always needed to read and read and read again or double check triple check on my works. It’s common to make simple mistakes. I used to be a chef and I’ve look on the upper amount recipe to the bottom amount recipe which I ended up failed my big batch of sorbet. But it’s okay I redo and make it a better recipe. It’s a waste of money and ingredients. That’s why I learn from my mistakes to double and triple checks. It’s common for you or me to be slow/ make mistakes don’t feel bad, seriously. But don’t give up too ! As long as you don’t give up you’ll get what you want.

For books, you’ll be tired after reading a page but at least you did one. Try to read a page a day and that’s enough don’t drained out your energy. My words fly all over and I always have to catch them. The colour paper I mentioned was a piece of blue plastic and I just layer it on top to help me read easier as in my words don’t fly so far. Some people might think that’s crazy because they don’t know how it feels like but don’t care about what other people thinks or look down on you if you’re slow. You are you and you’re putting way much more effort than others and I’m proud of us.

I used to be a chef and now I’m an admin who knows ? That was unexpected, i always did wrong on the numbers and words but I’ve just found my own solution to make it work and not give up. You can too, don’t blame dyslexia to look down on yourself, accept and appreciate dyslexia for making you a more hard working to be a successful person.

Look at the bright sight, there’s tons of successful person who had dyslexia. (Albert Einstein, Tom cruise, Steve jobs)

I’ve always use them as my motivation to work harder and not give up or look down on myself. I’ve always believe that if they can I can too.
