A Stranger’s Kindness You’ll Never Forget — What Was Yours?
I’d love to hear one small moment when a stranger showed you pure kindness — the kind that catches you off guard and reminds you how beautiful people can be.
It doesn’t have to be dramatic. Maybe someone helped you when you were struggling, offered a gentle word at the right time, or simply treated you with unexpected warmth.
These tiny moments stay with us. If you feel comfortable, share yours — I think we could all use a reminder of the quiet goodness still in the world.
I’ll start with mine:
I injured my knee during indoor skydiving and was on crutches when I stopped by a coffee shop. An older man sitting outside with his daily drip opened the door for me and kindly asked what happened.
About an hour later, I stepped away to use the bathroom. When I returned, a cappuccino topped with heart‑shaped coffee art was waiting on my desk. The barista told me it was from that same man — and he’d already gone.
By the way, my profile picture is this exact cappuccino from that kind stranger — a perfect reminder of the kindness I want to put into the world. And fittingly, it’s a “cup.” 😜

What a kind man 💚
When I was travelling around Australia, I met this elderly woman at Mass and she let myself and my friend stay with her for a few weeks, she cooked us beautiful meals, she treated us with such generosity and welcome and simply because she wanted to extend a kind hand to us 💚🤗

Wow that's so incredible. What an experience! I am sure she enjoyed your presence as much as you enjoyed hers 😊

She was a blessing, I shall never forget her caring nature 🥰

so like I was buying biscuits and one of my packets fell and became dirty the shopkeeper gave me that packet for free after that we became like friends he again helped me when my scooter got stuck, I am like regular to one of the local shops over here so once buying something I couldn.t find money in my bag the lady said I could take the thing for free and give her money tomorrow though I found the money and paid the price, it was still really sweet of her, I once like forgot to take pen early in the morning and only a medical shop was open so early in the morning the guy told me to keep the pen for free it was really sweet of him, I remember people helping me in the library and also so many times!
