An Aha moment is one of "moment of sudden realization, inspiration, insight, recognition, or comprehension." Made popular by Oprah Winfrey.

How did it come to you? What did you learn? What does it feel like to have an aha moment?

Have had too many aha moments lately... Almost. Just everything I've ignored and hid ...postponed or couldn't comprehend at the time is suddenly and instantly no longer a problem. Just like that . Aha yay!!!!!

When my friend told me my best friend was being abusive and to take a break from him for a week. Every time I went on FB he was messaging me constantly asking why I was on FB. While this was happening, I went to see my friends and university for the first time since I was pulled out. It made me realise that I could do stuff without him, that I could have fun without him asking me to go home to look after him or without him controlling what I did or when I was home by or getting questioned about every aspect of my night. It made me realise that that sort of behaviour was not normal. That I had more freedom than what I felt. That was when I begin to have the courage to leave him. I'm so glad about that decision and unbelievably grateful to my amazing friends at uni for being so supportive and not treating me like 2 years had gone by

I had a moment this week when I finally realized me and my ex are never going to work. At first I did a lot of yelling and blaming then crying but after going through most of the emotions I'm starting to feel much better about the whole thing. Work in progress though but it was the end and the beginning that I needed.

I had an "aha!" moment the other day. I wasn't doing anything, and in a split second just realized and thought how awesome I am. Oh, wait, then I realized, I was always awesome. Yeah. Nevermind. #sarcasm

I saw that harboring anger does not look good on me. I allowed myself a week to be angry about a situation and now I want to move forward. It's the only way things will change:

Last night when I went to bed there were irritating sounds in the house. And then I realized that I didn't have to put up with it. I could listen to music with headphones on. Why didn't I think of this before? surprise It seems so obvious now. I don't often listen to music like that, but I want to do it more. Instead of just putting up with something and being annoyed, I could enjoy and appreciate something beautiful.
