What is Joy and Optimism for you?
Hey everyone
Hope the day is been full of sunshine and ray.
When you hear the word joy what do you think?
What color do you associate with joy?
Joy is the light beaming in your eyes at something that gives you fulfilment.
It could be like childlike happiness - like a kid in a candy store - sorry cliched but had to say it :)
Optimism is shinning the light on the good aspects of a situation.
Remoulding and being kind to yourself and the situation
Despite all this hardship, I feel now, I can look back on it maybe be smiling, laughing, poking fun at myself or imagining wow I grew or wow I handled that moment differently as i would now. Optimism is regrowth in a way, Through experience, optimism can develop and make us think what's the point - whats the point in seeing the worst in something?

What a wonderful post! Put a smile on my lips <3 I associate joy with the color red, since it represents love.
Joy is the love people feel towards each other and it’s the love between humans and animals. I recently rescued a little kitten and it really did bring joy to my life seeing him slowly grow and become stronger each day. So joy for me is the love I feel for my newfound kitten, family, and boyfriend as well as their love for me. Optimism is like you say, a regrowth, and it does make you capable to go through rough moments in life, with an optimistic mindset: “I have done it before and I can do it again, there is light at the end of the tunnel”.

@GoldenRuleJG @GoldenRuleJG To me, joy is the soft, faint yellow that streams through venetian blinds when the sun hits right. Joy is not caring if you look a fool, you can't keep yourself from dancing. The feeling of achy cheek muscles 'cause you just can't stop smiling!
Joy is the euphoria you feel in simple moments when you're wiggling your toes in sand or soft grass.
Joy is a run on sentence when you're telling all about your favorite thing to someone who loves you. Or laughing so hard because you guys just had a whole conversation just by looking at each other and saying the first breath of each sentence!
Maybe that means joy is connection, either with yourself or someone else or the world around you.
