🍿 What’s a Guilty Pleasure You Secretly Love?
I have a confession. It’s not something I talk about much, but I think it’s time to let it out: my guilty pleasure is… reality TV. Yep, the drama-filled, over-the-top, scripted mess that I know I should probably feel ashamed of, but I just can’t stop watching.
I remember the first time I got hooked. A couple of years ago, I was staying in a hotel for a work conference, and I was dead tired. I turned on the TV, figuring I’d find something to pass the time before bed. The only thing on was The Bachelor. I figured, “Why not? It’s harmless.”
Fast forward a few hours, and I was fully invested in every contestant's journey. The drama. The cliffhangers. The rose ceremonies. I laughed at myself the next day but couldn’t deny it—I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve made it a weekly ritual. I know it’s ridiculous, I know it’s mostly scripted, and I know my friends would probably make fun of me if they knew, but there’s something oddly comforting about the chaos and melodrama. It’s like a little escape where nothing too serious happens.

I've never watched The Bachelor before, but reading your post, I could feel your excitement for it, and now I may have to go check out an episode or two. Meanwhile, my guilty pleasure will always remain pro-wrestling, and there is nothing secret about my love for it.

I'll try to avoid all kinds of pleasures that gives guilt
Be it eating favorite snack or wasting time
I believe entertainment should be spontaneous rather fitting it in a daily schedule.
